Carbon has a commitment to safety, regulatory compliance, and environmental responsibility in its natural gas and oil producing operations. A large part of Carbon’s commitment to environmental responsibility is in the reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from natural gas and oil field production.  All well sites are electrified to reduce emissions from internal combustion lift equipment.  Gas powered compressor engines have been decommissioned and replaced with electrical motor driven units.  In-field pipelines have been rerouted to avoid environmentally sensitive areas.  Natural gas transmission pipeline pressures have been reduced for increased safety and integrity.  Lease Automated Custody Transfer (LACT) systems allow commingled hydrocarbons to be transported via pipeline, greatly reducing Green House Gas emissions and trucking risks
